The amount of money you earn is not the only factor that determines your financial future. How that money is put to work has a much larger role that you could ever imagine! The authors of “The Millionaire Next Door” studied the profiles of thousands of American millionaires and discovered that many did not earn enormous amounts of money. What distinguished them from the rest of Americans was their ability to effectively manage their money. On the flip side, when money management skills are ignored, even those with extremely high earnings can find themselves in a desperate financial condition. For example, Mike Tyson's reported earnings during his boxing career were $300 million yet he filed for bankruptcy in 2003. He was $27 million in debt!
What is the difference between a workshop and a seminar?
A workshop and a seminar may contain the same content but the method used to deliver the content is different. A seminar is more “lecture-style” oriented with limited audience participation. A workshop typically has a small number of participants and is much more interactive. Workshop participants have the ability to play a very active role and share their personal experiences. We believe that the workshop is the most effective format for teaching money matters as it allows participants to get practical, hands-on experience in a short period of time.
Who should sign up for these workshops?
Our workshops are tailored to address the needs of individuals with different levels of knowledge and experience. Our online registration form allows for the specification of topics you are most interested in. This, coupled with small class sizes allows instructors the flexibility to tailor workshops to the specific needs of participants. Such flexibility is a luxury not afforded with larger lecture style courses. For additional information, refer to workshop descriptions.
