About Us
Our mission is to educate, empower and inspire individuals to take control of their finances and build wealth through an interactive, practical, and unbiased learning experience. To this end, we run a series of workshops in Toronto covering various money matters. We also provide ongoing support services to individuals and small businesses as they create their own legacy of financial well-being.

Workshop Facilitators
Monika Malachowska and Massimo Brutto are the founders of Money Matters Workshops and are the principal designers and facilitators of the range of workshops offered.
Monika Malachowska
Monika is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a Major in Economics, from the University of Toronto and spent over five years in the audit, tax, and advisory practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition to managing operations at Money Matters Workshops, Monika provides accounting, tax and consulting services to individuals and businesses. She also sits on the board of a charitable non-profit nursery school that provides an enriched preschool program for children in need.
Massimo Brutto
Massimo is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Toronto. Massimo has spent over four years combined in the audit practice at Ernst & Young and the tax practice at a mid-sized accounting firm. He is currently the Corporate Controller at a subsidiary of a Canadian public corporation specializing in real estate and property improvement. Massimo provides strategic support to the ongoing growth and development of Money Matters Workshops and is the principal workshop facilitator.
